Photo filters

Photo filters are a quick and easy way for your community to enhance their photos and Instagram feed aesthetic. Simply create a customized photo filter or preset using tools like Lightroom for your fans to apply to their images on mobile or desktop.

Provide instructions in your listing description so fans can start using your product after downloading. Utilize image collaging apps such as Canva or Layout so you can provide product preview images that show ‘before and after’ the filter has been applied. Audio files

Audio digital products are perfect for musicians, music artists and songwriters. Upload tracks, singles, mixes and jingles for fans to listen and enjoy on their devices. You display your album cover, a book cover with a play button (to make it clear it’s an audio file), or a phone with sound waves behind a phone mock-up to demonstrate a ringtone.

Champion your digital products using our top social promo hacks

Social media promotion is essential when demonstrating how your product works, presenting your digital creation and tailoring your promotion to your audience. Follow our guide to find our best practices and tips to really get to grips with digital products and creating the perfect campaigns. 

‘Call to action’ features on your social platforms

It’s important to make user journeys as straightforward as possible between your social media platforms, storefront, and listings. A call to action shows your community what action they need to take to buy your digital product, and how to do it. 

You might feature product previews on Instagram Stories and IGTV posts by inserting the “swipe up” action for buyers to be taken straight to your Teespring store. Consider adding arrows, circles and emoji’s to accentuate the action. Protecting your digital products

When it comes to regulating the usage and accessibility of your digital products, we’re taking the safety of your content extremely seriously. Keep reading to learn what we’re doing for your peace of mind selling digital products on Teespring and how we’re preventing resale, and distribution of your products, while ensuring your community is able to access your digital products easily and get the customer service they deserve.

 

Your digital product download protection 

Creators selling digital products online will often like to ensure the safety of their content. We’re giving you the option. Your community is made aware of our policy on our digital products answers page that any resale or distribution of digital products violates our terms and conditions and can lead to legal action. Creators selling digital products have two options:

Users may need to download more than once for reasons such as: 

  • The ability to download digital products to several devices, or to download a digital product again after a device loss or damage.
  • Internet connection or other technical implications may mean users need to download your digital product on more than one occasion.[/su_spoiler]

 

Ensuring your digital product sales run smoothly

Once payment for your digital products are processed at checkout, buyers will receive a confirmation email as well as an additional digital download email. The digital download email will contain a link containing your digital product files they can download to start using them. Your fans are advised to allow five minutes for the email to arrive and to check their email spam/junk folder for their download link. Promotional practices *really* working right now

Start glowing-up your social media platforms and get on top of your promo game ready for the holiday season. Keep reading to discover our round up of techniques and content creation hacks to use across your social media platforms.

Plan merch photoshoots

Posting content that shows yourself sporting or using your own merch is key. For all types of creators, showing off the quality of your products to your audience helps to increase sales as well as establish your personal brand. Set up your own DIY photoshoot and style your products in a way that engages your community. You can order samples of your products at base cost within the “Listings” section of your account.

Creating video content is an effective way to capture the interest of your community of fans on social media. Use platforms such as TikTok, YouTube and Instagram IGTV, Reels, and Stories to upload dynamic videos featuring your merch samples–this can increase sales by 50%. Wear your merch while filming, mention your products within your content and even consider filming a dedicated editorial style video to announce the launch of your products. Always make sure to provide links and reference to your products by using #linkinbio on Instagram posts and including URL links in your captions and descriptions. There are a tons of tools online you can utilize to help you to create effective video content featuring your products. Don’t forget, Instagram and TikTok both have free built in video editing functions, and they’re super simple to use—add text, filters, cuts, music and more!

Collect and share social proof

Successful creators incorporate social proof into their promotional efforts by collecting and sharing customer photos. Fan’s selfies act as positive reviews of your products and sharing them is an engaging way of generating trust in your brand. 

Whatever way you decide to promote your product, encourage fans to share photos wearing your products. Double up this kind of content for your own social channels and promote the popularity of your products. Sharing your fan’s content helps you interact on a more personal level with your community while building relationships with your followers, encouraging loyalty and building trust.

Brand consistency

Halocene: music, merch and more with UNLOCKD

Joseph, Brad and Addie are a three piece band from Phoenix, known as Halocene. With 4 original albums, over 300 covers on YouTube, and live concerts streamed on Twitch 3 times a week, they have built a loyal fan base that continues to grow.  

Merch inspired by a deeper message

Benefit from Facebook and Instagram ad campaigns

To help creators grow, increase brand awareness, and increase sales, Spring is introducing Facebook and Instagram ads to help promote and connect our creators with targeted audiences. 

Features 

  • We manage your custom ads from start to finish. You don’t need to lift a finger.
  • We create image assets, write advertisement copy, and manage their performance. (Of course, your input at any step of the process is welcome)
  • On average, creators set up with Facebook ads see a staggering 30% increase in sales. 

Each sale generated from a Facebook ad is a boosted sale and follows the boosted payout. Keep in mind, these will not interfere with your organic sales. For example, if both Spring and the creator send the same customer to a listing during a seven day period, the sale will automatically be counted as an organic sale and you will receive the higher payout.   • Your guaranteed profit is estimated based on past performance of your ads and costs. The price of an advertisement is measured by cost per action (CPA). CPA is calculated by dividing the total spent on an add by the number of sales produced by that ad.  
  • The CPA varies based on many factors, for example, we might look at your audience size and ad auction prices. However, Spring’s growth team optimizes the CPA for each individual listing. 
  • If the CPA is low, we’ll work on increasing your audience so we can achieve more sales. If high, then we’ll redesign the ad campaign to equate lower costs.  
  • No Facebook ad campaign is the same, but creators are guaranteed the same boosted payout. Fluctuations in the cost of advertising will not affect this.

  1. Reach out to your account manager or apply below to let us know you’re interested.
  2. Spring will select which of your products to promote, based on new releases and best sellers. 
  3. Our design and growth team will build your campaign with images and written content. 
  4. We’ll send you a request to link our Facebook business account with yours. This easy step allows us to run ads that appear as if they are coming from your account—linking accounts does not give us access to edit your page or view sensitive information. 
  5. Due to IOS 14 and Facebook’s new advertising restrictions, all creators that sign up for this program must have a custom domain connected to their Spring account. Once this step is complete, we can help you verify your domain with Facebook.

Discover ‘co-ords’–a longstanding, consistent trend that is still persisting this season. Short for the word ‘coordinates’, it means matching apparel products head to toe. This could be designing a set of matching loungewear such as joggers and sweatshirt or leggings and a t-shirt.

Combining pairs of products with co-ordinating designs by adding products to existing listings will encourage buyers to purchase several pieces in one go, increasing profits and the volume of products added to shopping carts.
